"All the way through his schooling at Stoke Gabriel Primary my son has been nurtured, supported, encouraged and celebrated for his efforts. The consistency of this amazingly high level of teaching hasn't changed or dropped despite the staff changes that are inevitable in the schooling system today. As a parent I couldn't be more grateful to the School and the Academy for the amazing Primary School experience we have been fortunate enough to have had."

History Experience Days

Key Stage 1 were visited by Jane who was Samuel Pepys' maid. We learnt all about what life was like in 1666. We were able to use the quills to write just like Samuel Pepys did and we got to explore lots of artefacts.
Pre-school and Ladybirds got to learn all about a fire engine which was 44 years old! They thoroughly enjoyed getting to sit inside the fire engine, hearing the siren, seeing the blue flashing lights and finding out about the different parts. They were amazed at the number of hoses it has! We are very excited to continue learning about different vehicles in our topic; All Aboard!
Pre-school and Ladybirds had a very exciting visit from a vintage car. The car was 85 years old and the children asked some super questions to find out more about it. We found out what was in the bonnet and where you put in petrol. We discussed how there was only room for 2 people and how our families wouldn’t fit in!
