"All the way through his schooling at Stoke Gabriel Primary my son has been nurtured, supported, encouraged and celebrated for his efforts. The consistency of this amazingly high level of teaching hasn't changed or dropped despite the staff changes that are inevitable in the schooling system today. As a parent I couldn't be more grateful to the School and the Academy for the amazing Primary School experience we have been fortunate enough to have had."

Science Week

Science Week 2021

This year the theme for Science Week was "Innovating for the Future".  We have explored and investigated  new ideas, devices and methods that have made life easier or better for people.  Each class has explored "What would a scientist do?" We have enjoyed using our scientific skills and building up our science capital and vocabulary. We have used the skills of prediction, planning, observation and measurement to test and compare the safest spaceship for a jellybaby, the most aerodynamic cape for a superhero as well as the strongest magnet and most suitable adaption for an imaginary animal. Each class has used a variety of ways to report, record and develop conclusions for each test or comparison. What a fun challenge it has been!
